Things I’ve Learned As A Masseur For Men
As a male masseur for men for the past five years, I have had the privilege of meeting and working with individuals from all walks of life. During this time, I have discovered a few important truths about life that I would like to share.
Getting a massage can be daunting for some people. It’s understandable that some people may feel a little uncomfortable or self-conscious when getting a massage. It’s important for me to remember that everyone is different and we all have different reactions to touch. I also understand that it can be difficult to open up to a stranger, so I always strive to make my clients feel as comfortable as possible. I want them to be able to relax and enjoy the experience without feeling any pressure or anxiety.
All bodies are beautiful. After touching hundreds of bodies of all shapes and sizes, I have invariably come to find something to like in every variation of the body. Everyone is unique, and no matter what shape or size a person is, there is beauty to be found. Everyone deserves to feel comfortable in their own skin and to be accepted for who they are.
Chemistry is a thing. I have seen firsthand how certain clients can click with me almost instantly, and I have also seen how that connection can be lost just as quickly. It is impossible to predict the mystery of attraction, but the potential for chemistry is always there.
There’s more to attraction than meets the eye. We think we are often drawn to people based on physical appearance, but there is so much more at play. It is often the little things, such as personality, interests, common values, a shared sense of humor, or a kind word, that make all the difference.
Nobody is 100% straight or gay. Our sexuality is complex and varied, and we all lie somewhere on the continuum of human sexuality. It is very common for people to find themselves somewhere in between the two. There is no need to label someone as one or the other; everyone has the right to express their sexuality however they choose.
I provide an essential service. Massage therapy can be a powerful form of self-care, and it can help people to feel relaxed, restored and rejuvenated. And touch can save lives. Studies have shown that physical contact can reduce stress and anxiety, and improve mental wellbeing. My touch affects not just the body, but the mind as well. Sometimes it can be crucial for someone’s mental health. It is a privilege to be able to offer this service to my clients. I am proud to be able to serve my clients and provide them with a safe and comfortable space.
Everyone has a story. Some stories are more tragic than others, but every person has a unique set of experiences that have shaped who they are. It is important to remember that behind every face is a history of joys and sorrows, so I try not to impose my judgments on other people.
There’s nothing wrong with being hairy. I personally think being hairy can be sexy. We can often feel pressured to fit into society’s idea of what is considered attractive, but the truth is that beauty comes in all shades and sizes. People should never be ashamed of their natural body hair.
Most people are innately good. While there is no denying that there is darkness in the world, I have found that people are generally kind and caring. We all have the capacity to be generous and compassionate, and it is important to remember this.
Many people get a massage, just so they can be touched. Touch can be a powerful thing, and I believe that many people seek out a massage, just so they can get that physical connection that they crave. I have also come to understand that many people get a massage not for the physical benefits, but for the emotional ones. They just want to be touched, and that is something I am honored to provide.
These are just a few of the truths I have learned from my years as a male masseur for men. I hope that my words will help to remind everyone of the beauty and potential that exists in all of us.
